Maddy loves the poo(l). It's full of wawa. The poo(l) is ow-sigh, where zawwo (zorro the Grammy's dog) lives. At times there might also be poo (the real thing) in the poo(l), but it is mostly contained by the Nemo swimmy diaps. We have learned the fine art of removing poopy swimmy diaps. Hint: rip 'em down the sides and they're pretty much like regular ones. No more strange contortions trying to pull a soaking diaper down the legs of a damp and squirming child, trying to avoid contact with the offending substance!
'Gammy' loves watching Maddy in the poo(l). A few weeks ago she was having a good day in between rounds of chemo, and I managed to snap this picture.
She looks great despite the struggle she's going through. Maddy makes her smile. Especially when she's running around in nothing but the swimmy diaps.
We're over there a lot these days - not much of a hardship with the beautiful summer days!
