little things

We seem to have many little things in our lives these days.  There's the nest with the (ug.ly!) baby birds on our front porch.....

Believe it or not, there are 4 peeping, peeking, nondescript, rather homely birdies in there.  See?

You might have to click on that picture to make it bigger.....you can make out 3 heads.  I believe the 4th birdie is facing the other way.  We hope they're on their merry way soon, because we're holding off the painting of the front door/porch due to these babies!

When we were at Dad's a few days ago, we found some other little creatures.  These also were in their nest....but I kept a much safer distance from them.

And of course, my favorite little  thing.....
