Smooth sailing.....
.....on a River......
almost.
I've made a bit of progress - just about through one pattern repeat. This picture is about 10 or 15 rows in. I LOVE this pattern - it's addictive!
However, one should not try focusing on several things while attempting to follow a lace pattern which one has never knit before. I have to tink one row because I'm not sure if I knit the alternate row or if I jumped ahead to the next pattern row. Oy. Ah well. It's time for a break. Tomorrow's another day. :)

Are you using KSH in the colour Smoke? I love that colour ... very subtle. I have used it for a small wrap. It's true ... better have great concentration before you are familiar with the pattern repeat. Good luck with the tinking ... it's not impossible, just have to go one stitch at a time.

Woo Hoo!! you Are sailing along. Lace is fun, isn't it?
I'm half way through the red section on my Norwegian. Started the henley steek last night as a last act of clear thinking before flopping in bed. Today is LoLo's first day of school!
